During the most recent transfer window, a group of South African footballers signed contracts with teams in different North African nations. Despite a common belief, Motete asserts that North African nations are capable of rivaling Europeans in the market. Motete explains that the majority of the players who started a journey across the continent were driven by the strong financial resources of clubs in North Africa. In the course of a week, Durban Ladies played Tshwane teams back-to-back.
